The Green Step C1 Training: from 21 to 23 September 2022 in Verona, Italy
The Green Step C1 Training took place from 21 to 23 September 2022 in Verona, Italy, together with the Transnational Project Meeting of the Consortium. A interactive training workshop for adult educators/trainers who have low sustainability skills and/or are interested in integrating training/teaching/learning sessions in their existing work with adult learners, particularly learners coming from vulnerable groups and/or having a migrant background. The training was attended by 20 participants including coordinators, trainers and trainees. The training was an opportunity to present the 5 chapters of the Curriculum created by the 5 Partners based on their specific skills: Climate Action, Green Cities and Communities, Responsible Consumption, Zero Waste and Upcycling, Green Jobs and Green Economy. Each chapter was presented by the partners in detail in order to verify the adequacy of the contents and test the effectiveness and impact on the trainees. An opportunity to dive deep in the Green Step pedagogy and curriculum (PR1) and to practice some of the hands-on activities which are included in the training toolkit (PR2) that could use in their work with adult learners.
We are very excited to announce the date for our upcoming webinar on 22 September at 1:00 pm (CET) There will be inspirational speakers and the opportunity to network and discuss with like-minded individuals.

We are proud of our Romanian partners from Asociatia GAL Napoca Porolissum for organizing a great multiplier event gathering people interested in finding their green state of mind!
The event took place in the Romanian capital, Bucharest, and the agenda made by our partners included the following:
The successful final conference of the Green Step Project that took place in Nicosia, Cyprus on the 12th of October 2023, marked the culmination of our collective efforts to promote sustainability and environmental responsibility. This momentous event provided a platform to showcase the achievements and impacts of the project over its duration. Through engaging presentations,
insightful discussions, and knowledge sharing, the conference not only celebrated our accomplishments but also fostered an environment of learning and collaboration. It brought together a diverse audience of participants, stakeholders, and experts, facilitating the exchange of ideas, best practices, and innovative solutions for a more sustainable future. The final conference
served as a reminder of the transformative power of united action and emphasized our unwavering commitment to creating a world where environmental responsibility is at the forefront of our collective consciousness. It has not only been a closing ceremony but also a stepping stone toward the continued journey of sustainable progress.
The successful multiplier event of the Green Step Project marked a pivotal moment in our mission to spread environmental awareness and sustainable practices. This event served as a catalyst, effectively multiplying the impact of our project by bringing together a diverse and enthusiastic audience of individuals, organizations, and stakeholders. Through inspiring presentations,
workshops, and interactive activities, attendees gained insights into the tangible benefits of sustainable living and learned how they could implement eco-friendly practices in their own lives and communities. The multiplier event not only raised awareness but also inspired a ripple effect of positive change, as participants, now equipped with knowledge and motivation, went on to share
what they had learned with their networks. This event stands as a testament to the power of collective action and the capacity to create a greener, more sustainable world through shared knowledge and dedication.
The successful engagement sessions (consultation activities) we organized for participants and stakeholders in the Green Step Project have proven to be transformative experiences. These sessions provided a unique opportunity for individuals to immerse themselves in the world of sustainability, offering firsthand encounters with innovative initiatives and the chance to connect
with like-minded individuals. Through guided discussions, workshops, and interactive events, our participants and stakeholders witnessed sustainability in action, gaining a deeper appreciation for the impact of eco-friendly practices. The personal connections and relationships formed during these engagements have been invaluable, fostering a supportive community of individuals dedicated to our mission. These sessions not only inspired and educated but also created a network of passionate advocates, reinforcing the belief that together, we can drive meaningful change and advance our collective commitment to a greener, more sustainable future.
The successful implementation of the Green Step Training Programme has been a milestone in our sustainability journey. This comprehensive programme has equipped our 20 participants with invaluable knowledge and practical skills to embrace eco-friendly practices in their personal and professional lives. The enthusiastic engagement and positive feedback from our participants underscore the programme’s utility. Attendees have not only gained a deep understanding of environmental issues but have also harnessed the tools and insights to make tangible changes in their daily routines, workplaces, and communities. The program’s success is evident in the increasing number of sustainable initiatives, eco-conscious behaviours, and green ideas initiated by our participants. Their newfound awareness and commitment to environmental responsibility have made the Green Step Training Programme a driving force for positive change, fostering a more eco-conscious and sustainable society.
